"If you've been to an event like this before, you know how awesome it is!  If you haven't, it's about time!  Building your network is a contact SPORT (we are an athletic club, right?)!  Join us for a beverage and meet more people at happy hour than you would all month!  SPEED NETWORKING is a fast-paced and fun way to make a lot of initial contacts!  You talk for a minute, listen for a minute, and then move on to the next person.  If you feel like you made a good contact, follow-up with the person later and schedule a coffee, a beer, or a squash match!  It's that simple!"
