Brice Cutrer-Jones started Sonoma-Cutrer in the late 70's, inking a deal in New York not long after his service as an Air Force fighter pilot in Vietnam and subsequent attendance of Harvard Business School. Brice sold his interest in the wildly successful Sonoma-Cutrer in 1999 and acquired what was then the Hallberg Ranch apple orchard that same year, just north of Sebastopol in Sonoma. The location of  Hallberg Ranch is some of the most coveted and sought-after real estate for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, know as the Gold Ridge.

Brice, and our local hero, Jim Hinkle, who is also attending the dinner, graduated in the 3rd Class from the then newly commissioned Air Force Academy in 1961. He has always had strong ties to Colorado, and we are thrilled to have him joining us at The DAC to show us the fruit of his endeavors and tell some wild stories!
