2023 saw programming growth in Squash, Pickleball, Bowling, Swimming and more!

2023 was an eventful year, and I'm proud to see our community's active participation in various sports and fitness programs. Some of the highlights include new and returning leagues, clinics, and the arrival of a new Squash Pro!
We are delighted to welcome Michael Woods as our new Squash Pro. His expertise and passion for squash will undoubtedly breathe new life into our squash programs. Stay tuned as we work together to create exciting opportunities and programs in this sport, and if you haven’t already met Michael, please stop by the squash area to say hi.
The introduction of Pickleball Leagues was a tremendous success. Members have embraced this fast-growing sport with enthusiasm, and the leagues have created a sense of camaraderie among participants. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to continuing and expanding this popular offering. In the same vein of overwhelming demand for Pickleball, we introduced clinics and sessions have consistently selling out. We're committed to accommodating as
many Members as possible, and we will continue to schedule more clinics to meet the high demand. Keep an eye on the schedule for future sessions.

Our bowling leagues have been nothing short of a hit. Due to their success, we are pleased to announce that they will return after the holidays, giving you even more opportunities to showcase your bowling skills and enjoy some friendly competition.
This year we were also were proud to feature swim lessons for small children. This program has seen a significant expansion, growing from around 70 lessons a week to 120. We are thrilled to witness the progress of our youngest Members as they learn this life-saving skill. Parents' satisfaction and the joy on their little ones' faces are truly heartwarming.
Currently underway we have a couple indoor fitness challenges to keep you motivated and active during the colder months. In November we did a 30-day plank challenge, and in December we’re focusing on the ever-challenging wall sit. Do your best – the longest times will win prizes!
There is also plenty to look forward to at the end of this year and into 2024. We're excited to introduce Futsal, an indoor soccer variant, to our Club's offerings. Futsal is a dynamic and fast-paced sport that provides an excellent way to enjoy the thrill of soccer during the colder months. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, we invite you to give it a try.
And finally, some exciting news for our backcountry ski fans! While we don't have a set date yet, we are planning an exciting backcountry skiing trip for the winter season. It promises to be a memorable adventure for those who enjoy the slopes, fresh powder, and the great outdoors. Stay tuned for updates on this thrilling excursion.
As the holiday season approaches, remember that our Club is here to help you achieve and maintain your fitness and health goals. Don't let the cold weather deter you; come into the club, stay active, and enjoy our warm, welcoming environment.
